Dear residents of Yeongdeungpo District!

Hello, I am Seon-hee Jeong, chairman for the 1st half of the 9th Yeongdeungpo District Council.

With a lot of hopes and expectations, the 9th Yeongdeungpo District Council has finally opened.

The pandemic which has been hindering our growth is almost behind us and we are entering a new chapter of a post-COVID era.

And I feel a great sense of responsibility taking this position of chairman at this crucial time.

The 9th Yeongdeungpo District Council will be a hard-working council, a communicative council and an empathetic council that reaches out to the neglect and underprivileged groups.

Faithfully representing the residents, Yeongdeungpo District Council will put in the legwork, pay attention to even the smallest voices in the community, suggest policies that are relevant to residents’ lives and try to share joys and sorrows always with the residents.

The 9th Yeongdeungpo District Council is comprised of members with a variety of age groups. Regardless of age, we will work closely together in harmony through communication and cooperation.

We will also work closely with the executive body of the district office towards achieving the same goal which is to provide happiness to the residents and develop the district.

We will try our best to meet your expectations, never forget where we started and always stay humble. We would also like to ask for your continued support and interest towards Yeongdeungpo District Council.
